WORKING WITH YOUR MOVING PLANNER

Every move comes with a lot of moving parts. Our process gives you a clear moving timeline and moving checklist so you know what needs to happen and when. Whether you’re preparing to move well in advance or working through a more immediate moving out checklist, your Architects of Moving team helps organize the details and guides you through how to prepare for a move.

• After initiating a complimentary, in-house estimate, we will arrange a time to come to your house. This first conversation helps us, your moving planner, begin developing a personalized checklist for moving based on your needs and timeline.
• Our team will take special care to go through every closet, cabinet, and room of your house to ensure that all elements of purging,  sorting, organizing, and packing of  your belongings are addressed. Within 48 hours we will email you a written contract with the stage-by-stage details of the move and possible dates for each stage.

• We will suggest ideas for what you can do yourself to save time, money, and energy before we begin the packing process.
• We will introduce you to a moving company if needed.
• We can also introduce you to resale experts, junk haulers, donation organizations, vendors who can digitize your family photos and a host of other experts.

• Every box we pack will be labeled with our unique sticker system and will note box contents, room location, etc. This creates an organized moving list by room, including a clear list of packing items contained in each box.
• An AoM team leader will be present with movers or other 3rd party vendors to initially guide these parties for move in/unpack.
• If desired, we can also be there when the movers come to unpack and setup your home.
