As relocation specialists, we understand that the move is the whole event—not simply the day belongings are transported. Annmarie Linnane went through 14 corporate relocations during her career as a pharmaceutical executive. She was all too familiar with the chaotic packing, the tough handling of her precious possessions, the work time needed to supervise movers, and the exasperation of walking into a new home piled high with boxes to unpack and organize.
Annmarie purchased the company in 2010 and quickly got to work. Drawing on her personal experience, professional knowledge of efficiencies and customer service, and a CEO’s business acumen, she built Women on The Move into a leading woman-owned Massachusetts move management company.
In 2024, Women on The Move became Architects of Moving—a name that reflects the thoughtful planning and custom blueprint behind every move.
